handmade accessories and home decor with a strong feline influence

Hello!

trelabela is the combination of two of my childhood nicknames. My dearest grandma Patt shortened my long name to trela. She taught me the beauty of a handmade item and I enjoyed creating and sewing with her as a child. bela came from my mother mary, who has been a maker since I can remember. When I was young she made sculptured nylon dolls, and later futons and today is a well know quilter. At some point the two nicknames merged into trelabela. I thought it would be the perfect name for my small handmade shop since both women have taught and inspired me to create.

Recently I started working as a freelance illustrator, with a new flexible schedule I found myself sewing more and more and decided to reopen my etsy shop. I made a new line of accessories with a cat theme (my recently adopted cat Boswell was my inspiration).
